Are the three Plusnet Routers inter-compatible with different Plusnet Services?

Hello there.

I have an elderly relative who I buy Standard Broadband for every month.

She has a supplied mid range 2704n Router which works very well.

I am wishing to upgrade her to Fibre Broadband and was hoping that the service would be able to go through without changing the router or it's settings.

Due to the Coronavirus- I won't be able to fiddle with things, personally.

Would this be viable? Or would the new Fibre service demand the Hub One router instead?

Thanks!

@Odylih  fibre will require the Hub One router.

Whilst an upgrade to fibre should be straightforward, I'd be wary of changing anything in the current situation. If anything goes wrong with the upgrade then getting it fixed could take some time, potentially leaving your relative without broadband for a while.
