Just trying out chromium as a browser. Not bad but I am unable to save any extensions preferences. So every time I startup it asks me the same questions!
Like the Forcastfox extension, it resets to default everytime
Anybody got any ideas on this?

chromium has been rubbish for me on pclinuxos. can't adjust the font to my satisfaction, can't remember tabs, can't do this that and the other. still way too alpha for my taste. while i wait for it to perk up, i continue to use a variety of other browsers.

$ pacman -Qs chromium
local/chromium 5.0.342.9-1
The open-source project behind Google Chrome, an attempt at creating a safer,
faster, and more stable browser.
Only installed it yesterday but, so far, no problems; extension preferences are saved between sessions / reboots.

Probably nothing you haven't already considered....
Check there aren't any weird permission problems preventing the preferences being written to disk
(~/.config/chromium/Default/Extensions in my case)
Rename the Extensions folder and see if Chromium recreates it
Reinstall the extensions
Install one of the session-management extensions which will allow you to manually save (and restore) a Chromium session.
Wait for a newer version to be released
(Are you using this one?)

Tried it briefly on my N900 but it wasn't a patch on MicroB so it didn't last long.
