I haven't used Lotus since Lotus123 for Windows although I did use Word Perfect for a while after that.
Is there any advantage of using this as compared to OpenOffice

I used Lotus 123, and Word perfect extensively for many years - indeed 123 was the package I learnt all about spreadsheets. Used the Windows versions for a while too.
But we changed over to MS products in about 1994 - so have no recent personal experience - but have heard of a few people using the current products who are perfectly happy.
I wonder if any of the computer mags have done one of their software comparisons ?
But may be worth downloading on a trial basis ?.
And good that MS have some realistic competitor.
