I`ve been using spreadsheets for a while, and not seen this before... can anyone tell me how it started and how to end it...
When I want to enter a new row of data I go to "insert" "row" and it would normally just put a new row of empty cells above the place where the cursor was... and the first cell would be surrounded with a heavy black outline, ready to accept the data.
recently, there has been a pair of red lines right across the spread sheet, and when I have entered and saved the data, those lines are still there.... and remain there, even though I try to enter new data on a lower row level,
I must have clicked on something by accident.. but I don`t know what the purpose of the red lines are, so I don`t know what to look for to "un check" it...
anyone help remove these red lines... forever, please.!
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Sounds like you have Track Changes on.
Look at: Edit > Changes > Record and make sure it isn't selected.
