Another FF issue

Since FF30 I've noticed several times that websites that used to load without issue seem to time out yet the same site loads without problem in IE or Chrome.
Clearing cookies for any affected site rectifies the problem.
Has anyone else come across this or can shed some light on what could be causing it?

Re: Another FF issue

These forums regularly have 'issues' with whatever browser I happen to be using; haven't noticed anything untoward when using Firefox / Iceweasel on other sites.

Re: Another FF issue

Just to be clear the issue stated in the OP wasn't related to these fora.

AddBlock Plus is installed but currently disabled.
The only Addon in use is Tab Mix Plus

Re: Another FF issue

In my experience, by the very virtue of simply having any one particular addon installed, even if disabled, it can cause some sites not to load. Your best test to eliminate that is to create a clean profile see how things are.

Re: Another FF issue

I've tended to discount the addons up to now on the basis that it isn't the same site every time and that once the issue with a particular site has been rectified by the actions I mentioned in the OP it rarely pokes it's head up again for that site.

Re: Another FF issue

I'm getting more of these 'Connection has been reset' issues with FF32 where clearing the site's cookies rectifies the issue.
Chrome and IE still display fine.
I'm starting to think it may be time to give up of FF. Maybe next year FF500 will have this and the memory leakage issues fixed Cheesy

I gave up on it years ago - it was full of memory leaks back then and quite frankly i found it to be a pain. The constant new versions they keep releasing also kind of looks like they're unable to release a proper product in a proper fashion but are dealing with glitches one at a time and expecting us to put up with their constant updates.
In an ideal world, nobody wants to be constantly updating so why are they doing it?
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
