Android device problems

Android device problems. - Every time I connect any of my android devices I have to re-install the software for it this means going through the following proceedures.  "a)    Open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel.
b)    In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, click Configure a device."  This is now quite an inconvenience.  Does any one have a solution?
