Android and paypal

I can use my paypal account to purchase stuff on my desktop using either windows or linux via firefox or google but for some reason I am unable to do this using an Android tablet, If I attempt to pay I get the Paypal signing in page but pressing the pay button simply takes me back to the website of the company I am trying to pay, these companies which also include ebay do have the paypal logo as an payment option.
My guess is there is some software on the tablet blocking these transactions but there is nothing obvious that I can see and no messages appear to indicate a transaction has been blocked so anyone any ideas ?

Re: Android and paypal

You tried the paypal app? If it can't connect then there is something weird. But I have no issues on my devices.
One Q what browser are you using the default android one?

the default browser varies depending on what the OEM set it as.
stock android has Chrome as the default browser.
Samsung uses their own browser.
