Android & Printing (Solved)

Could do with some advice about printing direct from a Samsung tablet to a Brother WiFi printer.
Printing using a windows 7 laptop and it prints ok
Using a Ipad with a paid app offers numerous options which all print ok
Using a Samsung tablet it's a different story, Brother do have a free print and scan app but that does not work, I got a paid app called printer share which works to some extent but many of the printed characters are not printing correctly, contacted printer share but they said there were so many different software drivers they could not cover them all, so to sum up,
Is there anyone using a Samsung Tablet with a Brother WiFi printer and getting successful printing ?

I have a Samsung 10.1 tablet  printing to an Epson printer.
I had to download and install an Epson printer service plugin.
Is there such a plugin for your Brother printer?

Seems this is a common problem with the Samsung Tab
Printer share seems to be a top app for most other printers but not for a Samsung/ Brother setup.
One daft thing is that I can email documents to an ipad or laptop and then print them out correctly that way.
Thought it worth asking in case anyone with a similar set up has got around this problem.
Not found any plugins that will do the job.

does your printer not support google cloud print? - https://www.google.com/cloudprint/#printers

Yes it does but I wanted to avoid cloud printing.

well that would seem like the easiest method to resolve your issue.

I did have this app on my tablet but looking at the printers it supported mine was not included so I deleted the app, however reinstalled it again today and it does recognise the printer and works ok so they have clearly updated the app very recently even though the last update is showing as march 2015.
