Over the weekend my telephone developed a problem which resulted in a very noisy line. So noisy you could not hear each others conversation. However, the broad band continued to work all be it with the odd disconnection and profile dropping.
Reported fault 23.30 Saturday night. BT Openreach engineer arrived 10.00am this morning. Found fault in the cable some way up the road. Switched to good cable, job done 10.30am.
