Advice/explanation for slow browsing on tablet

I have just been away for a couple of days and had to borrow my better half's Samsung 10.1 Tablet which uses Firefox for browsing
The browsing speed - loading web pages - was absolutely appalling despite a speed test result of about 27Mbps (Sky Fibre)
Is there a reason for this which can be fixed or am I just spoilt using a proper PC

Re: Advice/explanation for slow browsing on tablet

A tablet will have less memory (and no disk for caching images etc).
The processor will also be more feeble.

I run a local cache for my tablets Oldjim, the cache includes add blocking as well which helps a massive amount, I know the frustration though!

Re: Advice/explanation for slow browsing on tablet

Chrome seems nippier on my tablet than Firefox.
