Advice: PC to TV Wireless

Just looking for some advice as ive been hunting on the internet for a very cheap but good wireless audio/video pc to tv converter. Some I have found but then realised its only for tv. At the moment I am using S-video and audio cable 10 m of them and thats with having to move my cpu nearer.. (sigh!! yep I under measured) All I am after is to stream Movies from my PC to my LCD tv without having to uplift anything or run wires...

Re: Advice: PC to TV Wireless

Hi Jojo
If you can already connect your PC to TV via composite then a standard TV sender should work, all you need is one that has the Video and L/R Audio inputs (RCA Phono) rather than a scart .

Re: Advice: PC to TV Wireless

Scrap the idea of using my other comp... lol fan was too loud would be too annoying...  Hey!!  Viper, been trying to look for one with those inputs but all i done was confused myself  Crazy  I have a Inspiron 530  with the tv tuner looked on ebay and found this but still unsure if im looking for the right thing

Re: Advice: PC to TV Wireless

My experience of those 2.4Ghz AV senders is that they interfere with wifi (they're on the same frequency).  The are other that work on a different frequency, but they're more expensive.  Sad

Re: Advice: PC to TV Wireless

It should work, but you might need a few more things:
you might have one of these already:
3.5mm Jack to 2 x RCA Phono Stereo Audio Cable
http://www.amazon.co.uk/3-5mm-Phono-Stereo-Audio-Cable/dp/B000Q6LSWM/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=electroni...
and you will need something like this (not sure if phono to Svid is the same as svid to phono though.):
RCA/Phono Socket to SVHS/S-Video Male Connector - Gold
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Phono-Socket-SVHS-S-Video-Connector/dp/B000E3K4QI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=elect...
[Edit]
OR: StarTech.com 6 inch S-Video to Composite Video Adapter
http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-S-Video-Composite-Video-Adapter/dp/B0000BZ2WC/ref=pd_bxgy_ce_im...
[/Edit]
Then you should be able to connect the video sender that you found on ebay.
