Adding a static route on the 2704N Router

Hi,

I need to add a static route on the above router.  I have looked at various forum posts including "Unlocking the potential of Sagemcom 2704N" but can't figure out how best to do this.  Can anyone advise?

TIA,

Roy

Re: Adding a static route on the 2704N Router

The Hub Zero is a locked down 2704N. I fear that adding a static route is beyond the capability of this basic device.

One of the good things about Plusnet is that you are free to provide your own router. The setting details will be found here:  https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/broadband-connection-settings/. I would do a bit of research to find a suitable device. If you're on a budget then look on auction sites to see what's available second hand as there are many people upgrading their modem/routers these days and there are bargains to be had.

Re: Adding a static route on the 2704N Router

Thanks for that, I had started to think it wasn't possible and now that you have confirmed it, I'll do as you say and look for alternative router.

Many thanks for your help.
