Accessing Plusnet newsgroups from abroad

I'm out of the county at the  moment and trying to access plusnet.service.customer-feedback but all I get is repeated requests for my password. I'm entering the same as my email account but not getting anywhere. Any one any idea on how I can get round this?

I'm fairly certain (read: not 100% sure) that you can only access the Plusnet news server via a Plusnet connection.

Jaggies is correct - it is only available from PN connections.

That explains it then. Disappointing, but I'll stop trying!

Re: Accessing Plusnet newsgroups from abroad

I'd forgotten about that - mainly because the interface that provides to newsgroups is worse than terrible (even worse than the now defunct Google Groups access to newsgroups!). It would however probably be suitable for digital to use as he can't access the Plusnet news server (news.plus.net or usenet.plus.net) using a real news reader.
