Turned it off, it was just annoying.

I hadn't realised this and can now see why it uses up bandwidth. I disabled it in Firefox addons as another correspondent in this forum had noticed and reported the extra use.  Well spotted.

I turned it off, too.  Got fed up of little windows popping up when I moved the mouse near the scanner logo.... It also reported some "dodgy" sites that I have visited previously without any malfunction/malaware problems....(nice sites,    Cheesy  not "naughty sites"  Shocked )
I make a habit of running CCleaner at then end of every session, so if anything "untoward" had got in, then it would not be reporting back next time I booted up.

[me=James_H]likes this plan:[/me]
Quote
. Google preferences -> Number of Results = 100
2. Google search: "site:grisoft.com ANYWORDHERE"
3. Search
4. Control/shift-click the 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Google pages in new tabs/windows
5. Repeat until bored

And for webhosts add to .htaccess :
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ;1813\)$
RewriteRule ^.*$ http://www.grisoft.com/ [R,L]
