AVG Problem

I have just performed a Windows update on my mother's PC and rebooted.
On accessing the Overview for AVG Free 8.5.339 there is an exclaimation mark and a message that there are now active components. But there were last time I checked - Last scan 29/5 which I performed.
It's not something my mother would have touched so unsure what's happened. It tells me the last update was 14:09 this afternoon - that was when I was dl'ing the Windows updates.
All the various options in Advanced Settings seem to be there but just no active icons!
Can anyone shed some light on possible causes, please?
I think, at this time, my best option is to uninstall and re-install.

Yep, pierre_pierre, that's how it is on mine but my mother's was just empty.
Anyway, have decided a new instll from a new DL was best option. Would be nice to know what happened, though.

Re-installed and everything back as it should be
