A single device gives rogue speed test result.

Router: Billion 7800DXL

Devices:-

ipad Air, Samsung S7, Sony laptop W10, Vodafone Smart Ultra6.

Rogue device: Vodafone Smart Ultra6 (second one)

Speed test: Ookla.

All devices give results between 9 and 16mbps which itself is odd because I have never seen that low before but it is momentary. The rogue SU6 gives 0.9 to 2.3mbps with ping c.150 and jitter >2000 (other devices all very good). This phone has been rebooted and the app reinstalled.

It isn't hugely important but any thoughts would be interesting.

Mods: feel free to delete or move this as you wish.

I expect you are just measuring wifi speeds - which are always variable.

Re: A single device gives rogue speed test result.

No, I definitely am not measuring different WiFi speeds.

I have several devices run tests in parallel and discretely. The result is always consistent: the one phone shows a a speed c.10% of everything else.

For example, I just ran a test. Second figure is this iPad:-

Ping: 140/43

D/l: 0.64mbps!/14.00

U/l: 0.94/1.00

There is something wrong with the SU6 but what?
