Quote the service is stil running, it hasnt stopped, and has generated not output errors at all!
?
Quote ssh runs on the remote server, for about 5 seconds, before it stops and kicks all clients offline

because it *is* still running, perhaps I should have said, stops servicing clients.
The server has 2 nics, public and private.
After 5 secs or so, the public connection stops serving ssh, but the private does not. Im beginning to think its more of an IPtables issue than anything else.
