3D NAND SSD

Any reason why I shouldn't buy a 3D NAND SSD right now ?

I was looking an article becuase I noticed a £20 drop in the price of an SSD which led me to look at this article

Any thoughts welcome.

Re: 3D NAND SSD

If you've never used an SSD in a PC before the difference in performance is quite startling.

This is the speed my main drives are running now.

Re: 3D NAND SSD

Yeah we are using SSD's in 3 machines that run around 500/500mbps, I chucked one in an old pc and upgraded it to Win7 and as you say I was pretty shocked at the uplift in boot time etc.

I think I've come to the conclusion of waiting a bit longer, have a mooch here

Re: 3D NAND SSD

I've been watching the 1600X CPU prices for a few months only to see sellers inflate then deflate prices time after time...

so I've decided to wait till they reduce to around £150, if they don't fall that far I'll just wait for Ryzen +

Technology can be a [-Censored-] to buy but this beast pays it's rent!
