28,000+ Emails displayed

I use outlook, and since the last update it now displays all 28,000+ emails on one page. This takes ages to load and makes everything unresponsive. the first time it happened I thought the computer had frozen.

I've been through all the settings and can't find the option (like there was pre update) to display 50, 100, 200 emails per page.

Am I missing something or is this Microsofts way of forcing us to edit our emails?

So why don`t you just delete them?   Yeah, it`ll take some time... but....

Why not set up various folders depending on the origin of the emails if you don't wish to delete them all then filter them using rules, that will reduce the overall length of time to open each folder.

I have set up folders for the 'keepers', I also set them as 'conversation'. It's just a needless, time consuming and boring task.  Why did they take something that worked and 'improve' it?

Why did they improve it? Cos that's what companies like to do.

If you don't like it then setup your own email platform that you have total control over ☺. That's what I'm doing and like you I have over 20k emails in my yahoo account which need to be rescued as they also keep making improvements 😬
