I have this router as part of my fibre upgrade but I don't use it anymore. I want to use it at another house but as a standard adsl router if that is possible. If  so does it need a firmware update and where can I get it from. Many thanks.

It may depend on who the provider is at the other house, but you should not need any different firmware, just change the username and password.

It's a plusnet account. Possible router issue, so need to try a replacement. Thanks for the info.

Make sure the other user's username and password are entered before you connect it otherwise the ACS will set it up on your account.
I assume you've done a factory reset and set it up on ADSL. Check the MTU when you've connected, just in case it's not correct.

Thanks for the advice anotherone. Its appreciated.  I hadnt done a factory reset, I was just going to enter the details and then connect up. Will reset it first.
