I still require the use of two screens so want to get a new one but this time to match my Iiyama 26" 16:10 1920x1200.
I can find similar at 24", 27" and 28" but nothing at 26".
Has anyone seen anything that fits the bill?

The nearest I can find, so far is an Iiyama or a Dell. Both 24" 16:10.
Mayybe I'll just replace with another 24" 1920x1080 16:9 which can be got for a lot less.

Even though it only comes with a limited 30 day warranty it will still be covered by the SoG Act

I'd expect a bigger screen to have more pixels...

Larger monitors do have higher numbers of pixels but tend to be much more expensive as they aren't as mass produced as the 1080p panels.

But now my 26" 16:10 1920x1200 monitor has given up the ghost. The display shows for about a second then goes black. It does the same whatever input is selected. I have rebooted the PC, removed/reinserted the cables and turned the monitor off/on all to no avail
I have borrowed her replacement monitor which works well so it's not a PC or cable issue. Seems I have to get a new monitor but I still want the larger workspace that I got used to with the IIyama.
I've totally given up on the idea of a 16:10 ratio but 2560x1440 looks promising (my Radeon HD6700 can handle that) so have been looking at the following:
Benq GW2765HT
Acer CB270HU
Acer G277HU
I'm favouring the G277HU but wondering if anyone has any thoughts on these or other suggestions? My budget is around £300.

and if so then that might change the options available.
re the now broken illyama monitor, when you say it flickers do you mean you can see the desktop for a few seconds but it fades out and becomes plain black or is it bright flash then total darkness when you switch on ?
I ask because it might be cheaper to replace the broken bit inside the monitor if you can narrow down what the problem is

Quote from: nanotm would it not be better to have both monitors identical in terms of screen resolution ?
For my use I don't think that is necessary. It certainly wasn't a problem with one being 1920x1080 and the other 1920x1200.

The desktop shows for about 1 second, no flickering or fading, it then goes black. The monitor is around 7 years old..
