plusnet tv ending totally confused!

please help if you can!

Ok we understand the tv service ends soon

we understand the youview plus box we have will remain

our concerns:

will we be able to record programmes from the remaining channels available via freeview service?

our daughter gives us netflix through her allocation - will we still get this once tv service ends?

we are both over 70 years and are not very good with all this change but we enjoy unlimited telephone and broadband with plusnet.

many thanks

John

Re: plusnet tv ending totally confused!

Fix
Yes you are correct in all you say.

You can keep the box. It will still work to allow you to watch and record the normal Freeview channels.

You will still be able to use Netflix, iPlayer, and all the other similar services.

The only thing that will change is you won't be able to watch the premium channels like Comedy Central, National Geographic, etc.

Everything else will work as before.

Hope that helps.

Re: plusnet tv ending totally confused!

Thank you, yes I cancelled my Plusnet TV package when they first emailed to say it was being discontinued, and I've still kept the digibox and it operates exactly as I described.
