Which channels can you record?

Hi,
I want a Plusnet TV box as I'm interested in the history channel, but when I was with talktalk I couldn't record the premium channels, only the freeview ones, is this the case with plusnet tv or can I record from the premiums? this question will help me choose which box I go for as I won't get the + box if I can't record the history channel ....
Thanks
Mike

Re: Which channels can you record?

If you can get the + box than you can record all channels, there is no restriction there.
However if you cancel you subscription you won't be able to watch the recordings you have made.
Hope that's slightly more helpful than the answer above Roll_eyes

Re: Which channels can you record?

To be specific, you can definitely record History channel.
The only thing you can't record is 'catch-up' programmes.

Re: Which channels can you record?

To confirm these are the channels i've recorded from so far comedy central, history, syfy, tlc and mtv.
It's safe to say you can record all the channels except for on demand and catch up services.

Re: Which channels can you record?

Hi,
Thank you for the answers, I know you can't record on demand, catch up etc due to the nature of them, it was just the live history channel, I was brought into a contract with talktalk as they missold it and said I could record the premium channels but when I got the box it was only the freeview that would record, so it's nice to know that ALL live channels can be recorded, otherwise it wouldn't be worth me getting the + box.
Looks like I'll place my order this weekend then, thanks guys.
