TV Contract Period

As the question here ...http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,139148.48.html    hasn't been picked up I'll ask again
Is there a reason the website and some threads here say the contract length for TV  is 18mths but I was quoted 24mths?  Is it do with other service I have?

Re: TV Contract Period

Sorry I didn't pick it up in the FAQ, I have a habit of overlooking stickies occasionally.
It's a minimum term of 18 months, however I think it's up to COT as I've heard of them offering 24 months and deferring the price of the box. Were you told that you had to pay the price of the box?

Re: TV Contract Period

£50 to activate the plus box the other would be free -The reason I'm asking is because I'm 6 mth into an 24mth contract so 18mth would tie in nicely.
I'm vacillating at the minute as to if I really, really want it.  18mth I think I would 24mth not so sure.
