TV Broadband Intermittent

My TV / Broadband connection keeps on dropping out, and then re-connecting within a couple of minutes. (Error Message YVM102).

Cannot find anything obvious wrong with (all) the equipment; and it doesn't show any obviousy wrong with the program I am watching.

 

Anyone have any clues, please?

Hi there,

 

Are you noticing connection problems on other devices apart from the TV box?

A good place to start would be to try connecting the TV box to a different port on the router and maybe try a different LAN cable if you have one.

If you read my original post, there were NO apparent problems elsewhere on the (whole) system.

After an exhaustive strip down of the TV side of the system, and a reboot of the Youview Box as well as my Freesat box, all faults (?!!) have disappeared. The YouView box is constantly registering as "connected" on the Plusnet Hub Manager display, and, miraculously the YoiuView Box 'no sound' fault has disappeared.  

This whole affair casts a doubt on the viability of Plusnet supplied equipment.

 

Roll on the day when I can leave Plusnet without penalty!!
