Switch off or not?

Hi

As I'm new to this stuff I was wondering after obtaining a youview box and two inline adaptors would it be safe to leave them plugged in in order to record programmes whilst away for a week on holiday? I believe the router and adaptors are supposed to be designed to be left on 24/7. The only reason I'm asking is a worry about overheating whilst away. I leave them on all the time normally so I suppose its a bit of an irrational thought about being a fire risk when away. Also does the box record in standby mode? Thanks.

Re: Switch off or not?

Fix

You should be safe to leave them turned on.

With regards to standby mode it records channels whilst it's in that state.

Re: Switch off or not?

Thanks for that, not being able to record whilst away would take away a benefit of actually having it I suppose.
