Plusnet TV with existing Humax DTRT1010

I own a Youview DTRT 1010 and have normal Plusnet broadband. I would like to add TV channels like History, Nat Geographic, etc. So if this is doable, can this be EASILY done as I'm not really tech savvy!

Doi have to havea Plusnet box, as I have one already can't the channels just be added and obviously pay the extra?

Hi @chrissy0 , a warm welcome to the forum Smiley

You will need a PN box in order to receive the PN channels.

Re: Plusnet TV with existing Humax DTRT1010

I don't have PlusNet TV (doesn't work with FTTP!!!) so can't comment fully.

However, you don't need this to connect the Humax to the Internet - it's just another device on your network (wired is best if you can run an Ethernet cable).

You then have a choice how to get specific channels. Once again I don't have any to offer advice on as I simply use Google ChromeCast to send stuff to my TV from my PC.

More importantly you need to be a Fibre customer.

What you'll need

Plusnet Unlimited Fibre or Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Extra, with a minimum estimated line speed of 15Mb

Plusnet home phone
