Plusnet TV & Netgear D6220 Router (IPC6023)

Hopefully someone can help. I received my Plusnet Youview box today and did the install of it. When I jumped onto BT Sport 1 I keep getting IPC6023. I have googled the and struggling to find a fix for this problem. Can anyone help?

Had to reset the box due to all channels being mixed up. 101 was forcesTV etc etc. Maybe have a dodgy box

Fix

I think this is because you're not using our router. Can you try with the hub one and let us know if you still get the same issue?

Re: Plusnet TV & Netgear D6220 Router (IPC6023)

Thanks for the reply. I have just tried my old HH and now the TV works. Can you explain why a netgear router is prevented from using your services. I had to buy another router for business purposes and is better than the HH. I have been using the  netgear router for well over a year without any issues.

Re: Plusnet TV & Netgear D6220 Router (IPC6023)

I believe it's to do with the multicast option in the router. Ensure it's active in your new router which may help. We can only provide support on routers directly from us though.

Looking at https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Sport-on-TV-Online-player-or/BT-sport-channels-not-working-youview-wi... , have you done this on the Netgear

Then enable IPTV in the settings of the router
If this does not resolve it then enable IGMP Proxy also in the Netgear settings

Re: Plusnet TV & Netgear D6220 Router (IPC6023)

I tried a few things with the router with no success. I have installed the PNHUB1 and set up my Netgear as an access point. All sorted now.
