Plusnet TV?? Since when?

Ever since I joined Plusnet (and very happy too) I have been saying 'it's a pity that PN don't do TV. I really dislike Sky'.
I come on the Forums tonight and see this section - Plusnet TV.  Angry
Since when?
Where do I get details?
......And more importantly - WHY NO E-MAIL TELLING US OF THIS?  or did my e-mail not get through?  Cry
Not happy, though not furious - just a bit peeved. Sad Sad

Re: Plusnet TV?? Since when?

The launch of TV is a soft one as present which is why you might not have heard about it. We did place a banner in the Member Centre for customers to click on to show their interest and we sent out e-mails to those who registered their interest.
I'm sorry you weren't notified. Further details are available on Plusnet TV at https://plus.net/tv

Re: Plusnet TV?? Since when?

Thanks. Tracked all the info down now.  it IS a bit hard to find from the opening page. As for the banner in the member centre, I use a bookmark and go straight to the forums (as I suspect most people do) therefore I missed this.
One quick question - looking at the costs, exactly how much does it cost to set it up?  Do I get charged £19.99 for the remote, plus £199 for the +box?
Going to make a couple of calls tomorrow - one to sky to confirm that I am on a rolling monthly contract, then another to PN.

Pretty sure that's the charge if you break it (or loose it in the case of the remote) and need a replacement.

Re: Plusnet TV?? Since when?

I think it is £50 for the unit if you want recording, or free otherwise. (+p&p)

Re: Plusnet TV?? Since when?

think some have been waived the £50 for a 2 year contract.

But worded as 'Activation fee'.

I've seen that also somewhere on here.

Re: Plusnet TV?? Since when?

I've been beaten to it in this case.
The general rule is £50 for the HD box. Customer Options do seem to be waiving that with two year signups though.
