Now Tv & BT Sport via Plusnet

I have BT Sport as an add-on ( although currently suspended)

When I do pay I have it via the Sky platform but pay PlusNet.

I see that BT and Sky have agreed to show each others programmes.

Once things go back to normal I will resume my BT Sport add-on just wondering if PlusNet will have the same reciprocal agreement with Now Tv as they do sky tv as I would quite like to leave sky and join Now Tv but not pay over the odds  as it is suggested Now Tv will charge £25.00 a month so this would negate leaving Sky as I wouldn't gain anything.

@steedie1

My father is with PN and had been using BT Sport as an add on.  He used Now TV direct via the own service and did have a good 10 month deal for the Sports so it depends what you want to access.

I am not aware of PN having an agreement with Now TV.

Kind Regards,

CJT

Re: Now Tv & BT Sport via Plusnet

I have Plusnet TV and Now TV both separate contracts. But I completely agree it'd be great if Plusnet can get their owners(BT) to allow them to have access to the Now TV packages and channels on their TV Guide rather than separate app like it is currently and of course all on one contract.  Would love to be able to record Sky Channels and not have to use a different device/app to watch content

Re: Now Tv & BT Sport via Plusnet

you do realise that those people who signed up for now tv via BT TV lost all access to all the entertainment channels that Plusnet current host?

What channels were they? The Nat Geo, Animal Planet and all them?

Because BT still offer them

Re: Now Tv & BT Sport via Plusnet

From what I have read on the BT forum, I don't think the Classic Entertainment packages co-exist on the Channel guide with the Now TV packages

Are you asking if Plusnet will have the sky channels I.e sky one, Atlantic etc?

Re: Now Tv & BT Sport via Plusnet

If the above is for me, perhaps I didn't explain clearly.

I have PlusNet broadband and as an add-on I pay PlusNet extra for BT Sport via the Sky platform , currently £10.00 per month.

Now TV have said they will have BT Sport on their channels by the autumn.

My question is, that as BT and Sky have agreed to show each others programmes, would  or could I now get rid of Sky and subscribe to Now TV and watch BT Sport via Now TV paying PlusNet the £10.00 to Now TV instead of to Sky.

Re: Now Tv & BT Sport via Plusnet

You could do but it depends how much Now TV charge for BT Sport I can't see it being anywhere near as low as Plusnets price sadly i wouldn't have thought so anyway
