Netgear WNR1000v2, Dell 2716

Hi,
Can anyone help with this please.
I have
BT Fibre Modem connected to the Netgear WNR1000v2 router (latest firmware)
The router is then connected to a Dell 2716 switch. The switch then supplies RJ45 sockets around the house, the Youview box is connected to one of those via patch cable.
When trying to view the additional channels I get nothing... a blank screen.
Plusnet say, " you have to use our router ..... " I'm not keen on that as the router seems very basic and I need to allocate specific IP addresses to devices based on MAC address which my current router allows me to do.
I would like to leave my router and switch as is, tweaking the configuration.
Any ideas / help appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure you can configure that router for multicasting, which is needed for TV.
Have a look here and here for more info.

Might be worth posting on the Netgear forums: https://community.netgear.com/t5/DSL-Modems-Routers/bd-p/home-dsl-modems-routers and try these 2 also: http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/board,5.0.html and http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=6
Good luck!

As a test pop the PN router in and see if the TV works, if it does then it is a modem setting (or it cannot do IPTV)
