Re: Billion BiPAC 8800NL set up

I posted this link to a thread (http://www.billion.uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3764I posted on the Billion forums, in a previous thread.
I have a Billion 8800AXL and followed the guide posted on that thread and am sat watching IPTV on the YV box with no problems.
In answer to your thinkbroadband monitor - I am not sure - maybe post something on those forums?
Rick.

o to monitor ping via the thinkbroadband monitor

If the 8800 is like my 7800X, WAN ping is enabled under Configuration-Security-Block WAN ping
Note that you'll need a static IP in order for the TB monitor to work

No you don't. It is just inconvenient as you will have to create a new monitor if your connection drops and you are allocated a new ip address. Mine stays up for 10- 20 days at a time before randomly rebooting, then I delete the monitor and create a new one.
