We’ve become aware that there’s an issue with certain characters not being accepted in the password field when trying to sign in.
We’ve found out what’s causing this problem and are working on finding a solution. This should be ready for Monday.
In short, a recent update has seen certain special characters fail the validation stage. This is making passwords show as invalid but the password reset tool is still allowing them to be selected. We’re advising people to leave characters such as &, |, < and > out of their passwords so they can sign in successfully. And for anyone with a password containing these passwords to reset it here.
When everything is running smoothly again, we’ll let you know.
