Headers marked read before they have been

With Squirrel Mail, message headers remained bold (i.e. as unread) if they had not been opened in a POP3 client or in Squirrel Mail itself. That doesn't seem to happen in Roundcube - the headers are "non bold" as soon as they appear. As I routinely leave messages on the server in my POP3 clients and have a "clearout" every few days in webmail, this is something of a disadvantage as I can't see (in Roundcube) messages that haven't been read. I hope I've made myself clear!!
Is this the expected behaviour?

Re: Headers marked read before they have been

Are you using the preview pane? In Personal Settings->Preferences->Mailbox View there is a setting to Mark previewed messages as read "immediately" in my case. It sounds like you have the same setting and I think changing it to "never" (and clicking Save) might meet your requirements.
