Emails listed in wrong order

I've noticed this several times - emails don't appear in the order they're supposed to.
Check out the attached image showing files not in the date order expected by the header.
Whilst I've only got three emails there presently, this has also happened when there were a lot more, and unread newer ones were further down the list invisible below ones already read until I scrolled through.
Even after clicking on the header to reverse the listing order they're still in the wrong place.
They appear in the correct time order in SquirrelMail...

Re: Emails listed in wrong order

If I remember correctly this behaviour was mentioned in the early days of the trial, messages being displayed in received order but the dates/times shown are the "sent" values in the email headers. Or was it the other way round?
Does that fit what you are seeing?

Re: Emails listed in wrong order

From memory no, since before I'd taken that screen shot, the latest one was unread whereas the other two were read. But the latest one was at the bottom...
I'll look out for it happening again. It certainly doesn't happen all the time.
EDIT - the header of the email showing in the wrong order does include the following lines:

Delivery-date: Sun, 12 Jun 2011 13:34:11 +0100

So is it possibly picking up that curious 8 June date?

Yes, that is what I was referring to as the "sent" date. It looks like the sender's computer (on a private 10.x.x.x network) has its date set incorrectly, or it's been sat in its Outbox for 4 days before transmission.
