Plusnet really are a joke, I had my broadband disconnected for three days, if I hadn't phoned everyday they would not have done anything, why the disconnect? because someone had pressed a button on a computer, three days of tech checks only to find out it was an admin cock up, you have some mod on here saying don't cross post as you may get an answer elswhere, the answer is easy, Plusnet are incapable of operating as a ISP provider, I siuspect the leaving rate is the highest of all UK ISP providers, spped is woeful and they know it, for a BT company this must be tearing it's share price to bits.
