Re: mobile data review

Hi @bristolash91

Thank you for the feedback . At the moment I don't believe this is something that is planned but I'll pass the feedback on to the relevant department.

Re: mobile data review

Three have announced an offer of £18 for 30 Gigabytes.

https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2018/09/three-uk-remove-essential-mobile-plans-and-cut-100gb-s...

With certain handsets Three support wifi calling and Volte (4G calling).

Sadly PN do not support either of these.

Re: mobile data review

If you read the article 30GB is now only an amazing £17 and 100GB now only £20 on the new Advanced plans

The Advanced plans all offer mobile roaming in 71 destinations at no extra cost, Tethering, as well as “Go Binge” that allows you to stream Netflix, Apple music, Deezer, Soundcloud and more “without using your data.”

But what is coverage like that's the problem

Re: mobile data review

In my experience around south and south west EEngland:

Three's 3G coverage matches EE's 3G coverage.

Three's "main" 4G coverage is behind EE's coverage. EE have more cell base stations providing 1800 MHz 4G.

However, in Three's 800 MHz 4G coverage is better than EE's coverage. Three refer to this 800 MHz as Supervoice.

Three's 800 MHz signal provides better coverage than 3G, especially inside buildings.

The catch is that, normally, only a limited range of phones are allowed to access tge 800 MHz signal.

Most of the "allowed" phone types are listed at:

http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/network/4G-Supervoice

Re: mobile data review

Thanks     RichardB     That was very helpful

I its unbelievable what you can get for only £17 and the phone I have is suitable for the Super Voice  looks like I will be visiting my local Three shop

That's another advantage there are shops where you can talk to someone etc

Thanks again    Brian A
