Waiting THREE MONTHS for broadband. Now no internet at all for weeks. Pathetic.

Hi Ian,
I called your mobile and landline today around about 10am.  I spoke to your wife at 10:35 and 11:20.
The latest is that BT felt that the necessary work had been completed, but you were unable to get a connection.  If you could check when you get in and try factory resetting both your router and the Thomson one that we sent you to double check.  I would also be grateful if you could let me know what error you are getting on the router panel.
Because I am not able to test your line (because officially the order is not complete as we had to expedite it) I'm flying a bit blind at the moment in locating where the problem is.

This is like a murder mystery book borrowed from the library from which the last page where all is revealed has been torn out.
Are you on line yet Ian? Yes or no would do but an explanation of which clues I missed would be good!

We think he may not have a Dial-up modem to reply with, mind you the way he was explaining things he might be lucky to get 14K4 never mind 56K.

This was fixed about a week ago.
I think it was the day after Ian's last post.
