Took Plusnet advice and got new ADSL wireless router - all now great

Replaced old thomson TG585 v7 router with TP Link ADSL/fibre TD-W9970 - doubled speed, link now solid (was dropping every 8 to 10 minutes, needing several manual re-starts every week, 0.4 to 8Mbps, clear channel 6 as shown on free Wifi Analyser App on Android (recommended!) and free Pingplotter to show latency and drop-out issues.
Now stays over 13Mbps, no latency or dropout or re-start issues. Best £45 I have spend this year.
I will be staying with PlusNet.
Not ALL good though - 55 minute waits for helpdesk - needs sorting - but always excellent when I get through.
(DONT call using mobile though - that cost me over £50!!!)

Hi nickplus,
Apologies for the wait, we're working on that.
I'm really glad you're getting on well with the new router and thanks very much for the feedback.

Oops, well you used the wrong number then as Plusnet have a 0800 number that is free even on mobiles, regardless of operator.
