Today's price increase

I am heading over to my sisters this evening to sign her up to Plusnet Unlimited (she currently doesn' have broadband) and just thought id check what speed she is likely to get, so imagine my dismay when looking at the 'customise package' screen where it says £12.49 for 1st month. At first I thought she must be outside the low cost area which surprised me, after checking I see prices have increased TODAY !  Angry - She is with a BT contract for phone so cannot take advantage of the £9.99 option. Not a happy bunny here and ive yet to break the news to her. Can anything be done if she signs up tonight?

Re: Today's price increase

Could she transfer the phone over to us? She'd be able to get the broadband at the £9.99 rate then.

Re: Today's price increase

Im pretty sure she has recently signed a BT contract for 12 months but will confirm. Can anything be done to get it for £9.99 without phone, she WILL sign up tonight. It would keep me (a valued customer of 9 years) and a new customer very happy  :).

Re: Today's price increase

She could try ringing the Customer Options Team on 0845 140 6002 or 0330 123 9197 (M to F 9am to 8pm, Sa 9am to 5:30pm) to see if a deferred phone move can be negotiated,
However the monthly charge will decrease if phone is added later.
