Requirement to separately register for support?

It seems really bizarre to require your customers to set up a separate username and password for your support forums.  It's irritating and seems completely pointless.  Just let people use their plusnet login.

do you realise how much of a potential security risk that could be?
have a forum use your main account username and password?

We used to have them tied together many years ago, but we split the logins to allow people to use a different username and password. Sorry if this is different to what you want.

I totally agree they should be different for security reasons
