8th Feb - I reported an issue where I had an unrecoverable DSL down, I raised the issue and the above question was created. The DSL connection did return but I have being I having a few more disconnects mainly during the night.
17th Feb - I had repeat of the DSL down issue, my TP-Link Archer VR400 reported a poor connection. I tried my old Hub One and the connection restored. I updated the question yesterday with my findings only to be told today my reported issue is resolved, I would have expected some evidence of further checks made as a result of my update, GEA and Radius reports not be told everything is fine.
I have been a Free Online / Plus Net customer for many years more than I can recall and I can say this is really disappointing service not because of longevity but on the focus of the first line support. I should not have to come to the forum to achieve a better level of service.
