Just to keep this in perspective - my router was sent by Royal Mail on December 21 and arrived the following day.

Me too - I had a router sent last week by First class post and it arrived the next day

Re: Plusnet failure to supply the router - No fibre for Christmas

The OP's received the router and is online for those wondering.
After the 3rd of November I will have a limited presence here as I have moved to a new role

Thanks Matthew.
It would really be nice if people posted when things had been sorted!

how was he able to make the original post then.
clearly the OP has some way of using the internet.

Probably using the 3G or 4G from their phone... or a usb dongle... or even a public wifi hotspot...
That doesn't mean its suitable for a whole familys internet use though!

Not sure how long ours took but it was also rather quick. It was duff though so they then sent out another... which arrived a few days later... but the returns bag for the first one to be sent back in must have taken a week or two to turn up. Even now I've no idea that plusnet ever received it back at their end and they've said nothing to the contrary..
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Plusnet failure to supply the router - No fibre for Christmas

Yes my router arrived 24/12 and has been installed, presumably the second one.
Still not happy with the service, as the router should have arrived before the telephone line went active 14/12.
If had done so much unnecessary time wasting could have been prevented.
Why did I not post before, my family has just left and I hold them far more important than Plusnet, and wished to spend time with them and not here.

Personally I have no idea what 'the OP' means, an explanation would be nice?
Not feeling 'loves-you-back'!
