Plusnet email - 14 day line estimate vs. actual

FYI
I received the following email from plusnet in which the estimated line speed is incorrect.
Fortunately you didn't tell me my estimated line speed would be 3.5Mbps, otherwise I would have never have signed up!  My estimated line speed given to me at signup was in fact 80Mbps. You seem to have a bug in your automatic email systems!.

Now that your service has now been active for 14 days, we thought we'd let you know the speed as it stands today, by way of comparison.
Estimated line speed: 3.5Mbps

its a bug
this is my estimated speed and has been since I joined

Looks like the email has the adsl estimate not the fibre one..

Put your phone number in to http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome
Plusnet get their estimate from the same place - you'll see the 3.5 is the normal ADSL estimate and will also see the estimate you should have been given for fibre.

Yes, it's a known issue. Apologies if anyone is feeling misled by this.
We have this particular issue logged under problem 74541 at present.
