Hi Ted,
Yes - That's normal as the 10GB bolt on is something that we have to add manually.

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

I'm beginning to despair of the PN billing system.
After the problem of signing up for this offer - incorrect billing last month - and being assured it would all be ok this month - I now have the email saying I am being debited £14.25 for this special offer this month, instead of the first months discount figure of £5.50 Huh
Come on guys - it is really isn't doing your customer service any good at all.....................  Angry

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't that for your home phone line rental as well?
Edit: My mistake, looking into it now.

No James - I'm on 10GB Broadband and Evening & Weekend calls offer - maybe we should start a new thread - as maybe being here confuses things ?

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

Mal - As per our conversation.
It's not down to an issue with our billing systerm, however I do appreciate your concerns.
Unfortunately, your discount not being applied correctly is down to human error and I'll apply manual refunds to ensure that you're not overpaying.

Should be 7-10 days Peter.
Was it a discount or a refund?

I hope that isn't what I will have to wait after we agreed it yesterday James.
Why should we lend money to PN for 10 days ?.
Do I need to email Pete jackson again  Sad

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

Hi Peter,
I can see that the refund was processed by us on that day.  I'm not sure where the delay will have been but I suppose there's a possibility that it was with your bank sooner.
Either way, I'm glad it's been processed accordingly.

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

This now looks like having been a bit a con  Sad
People like me who signed up are now left on a low usage limit with no way out at the end of the 12 month lock in - any change will then result in a 18 month contract
I think it will be MAC time rather than staying with PN  Sad Sad  Angry

Re: New Option 1 offer with 10GB allowance

Why do you feel it was a con?
I personally feel that a 10GB usage allowance for £5.50 for the first 3 months and £9.75 after, was a perfectly good special offer.
Aren't you happy with your existing product?  You were before today so why the sudden need to change?  It's also worth bearing in mind that if you do migrate, you would need to buy out the remainder of your contract.

The biggest issue, I feel, is now not being able to change from one BBYW package to another, which was the whole point of BBYW ... that you could customise and change as you wanted.
There could be times that I could move to BBYW2 or 3 depending on usage, that option is now gone, I have to choose Value or Unlimited!
Hook > Bait > Switch. The credit card companies have been doing this for years, which bright spark at BT PN decided on this experiment?
