Hi Everyone,
Just a quick update:
My sister put in an order to BT and it went through without a hitch and she's now connected.
I expect that because she'd originally been with BT they still had the line identification that Plusnet wasn't able to get hold of.

That shouldn't be the case.That suggests preference has been given to BT Retail over other CP/ISPs, something may need reporting to OFCOM.

Whilst it should not be the case, I do not doubt that the OP is (one way or another) correct.  Whilst there is a mass of apparent evidence of BTOR / BTw providing preference to BT Retail, proving it and making it stick with Ofcom will be impossible.

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
