Hi fender,
I've just looked into this and due to the account type we have to take a £25 activation fee to get things moved over onto Plusnet which we would then need to refund afterwards. I've had a listen to your call with my colleague on the 3rd and what they advised is actually correct.
I apologise that we don't have an alternate way around this for you.

I helped someone move over to plusnet with justmail to retain the @totalise.co.uk email service, and so far no problems, it just works as it should and no £25 charge either.
as for this:

It may be of use to state why this charge was generated, and it what circumstances it may happen again and to confirm that if it happens to anyone else it will also be refunded.
