IT North Korea: Nice simple personal website rudely deleted by PlusNet

I had a really nice website with some uncontroversial personal content (some home-made recordings of classical music) going happily for many years.
And then I had this portentous email (at bottom) on Friday 21st February announcing that it had been deleted and that I had to write a grovelling reply to possibly get back what is rightfully mine.
I've been a loyal customer of many years and have acted with complete good faith and integrity and am frankly very insulted
Has anyone else had a similar experience? I think it is down to some external cyber attack. Beating up your customers is not the way to solve a problem, PlusNet!

I do not understand why _Adam_Walker_ is referring to the content causing the OP's site to be archived
When in fact
The transcript clearly states

I think he was just clarifying that the content was not the reason for the site being archived - in case the OP believed this might have been one of the reasons (the thread title and first line seem to indicate this).
@ DKP - Have you looked at setting up a blog site where your not subject to any bandwidth usage restrictions?

As above - your site has possibly got too popular or has files that are quite large and have been downloaded many times so you've used up your bandwidth allowance.
This sometimes happens when you post something of interest and it gets shared on the social networks so everyone pops along to have a look.

Actually - that was exactly how I read Adam's reply as well - that the original poster may have perceived the reason the site was removed was for reasons other than the bandwidth issue.

Re: IT North Korea: Nice simple personal website rudely deleted by PlusNet

Thanks for the interest. I am not an t'internet expert, but I don't know why some other computers on it harvested all of my content ten times over. Ten copies of a home recorded mp3 don't make it ten times better. It has certainly not gone "viral", unless the taste of the general public has risen far above the music of Justin Beaver where it seems to like wallowing.
What put my back up was the petulant grovelling reply you have to post back to the Head Prefect saying that you won't be naughty again. Must have been written by an engineer who writes in green biro and has Pot Noodles for tea in front of his X-Box.
To PlusNet's credit, and particularly Adam Walker, they quickly reinstated it when I kicked up a fuss. So thanks, Adam.

I have to admit that made me giggle but I do hear what you're saying I'll see if we can update the text for something a little more friendly and customer-centric.
