ISPA Awards 2014

Plusnet up for two awards: Best Superfast Broadband and Best Consumer Fixed Broadband
Just wondering how some of the other ISPs are in the same categories - Fidonet (Best Consumer Fixed Broadband) appear to be a Business orientated ISP?

Oh, missed that. The TBB article seems to have missed PN out of that category!

Re: ISPA Awards 2014

Last year PN was the winner of  "Best Consumer Customer Service"

This year they do not even make the short list for the same award, not a surprise though, the way things have been

Re: ISPA Awards 2014

This is the official list http://www.ispa.org.uk/2014-ispa-awards-shortlists-announced/
I admit to be totally baffled by the list for Best Consumer Fixed Broadband - as I posted at TBB
Quote
In the best Consumer Fixed Broadband only Sky, Plusnet and on a regional level Spectrum Internet appear to be Consumer as opposed to Business
Hyperoptic are only FTTP
RE the Best Consumer Customer Service
Where the heck did those finalists come from
For example Calalyst2 is only web hosting, Wifinity isn't consumer at all

Re: ISPA Awards 2014

Some bizarre names on those lists.
Metronet seems to only wireless leased lines.
Bridge Partners are not a fixed broadband supplier.

I think the transition of the new call centre, has not been as reasonable as expected it would of been
Bering in mind PN have to find the right candidates to full-fill the "DO YOU PROUD" role as not everyone will be cut out for call centre work,
That said I hope PN will be able to get back on track ASAP

Re: ISPA Awards 2014

The awards are a bit strange though - best consumer customer service has gone to a web hosting company that does not seem to offer broadband.

Re: ISPA Awards 2014

The scope of the awards isn't broadband only.  Only four categories are limited to connectivity providers.
