Have you had a good experince with your PN Broadband contract this week ?

OK - a good point
Over on this thread - The Peckham Bouncer asked:
"And bare in mind your looking at messeges here from customers who have had problems..people wont be writing in saying, 'had a great week on plusnet this week, no problems thanks'..."
So just a light hearted survey to ask just that question of the regulars, and visitors.
Has this week been a good week for your Plusnet broadband service ?

Just a niggle, the connection occassionally kept dropping. Profile now gone down from 6500 to 6000 to hopefully this will be more stable now (used to be on 6000 with no problems). Just a pity you can't say "stick at this level" because each time it goes up to 6500 the connection drop outs return.

Can we have a vote for "Plusnet have resolved a couple of long-standing problems, so at this particular moment in time, everything is peachy"?

"In The Beginning Was The Word, And The Word Was Aardvark."

Not applicable

Connection dropped once last night but soon back on with a bit of jiggling in the Network and Sharing Centre so voted for no problems as can't be sure it was down to PN anyway.
My connection is usually 100% reliable and I'm understandably very happy.  Smiley

had a few problems this week with choppy throughput on 21cn but am sure if its BTw problem or not as a resync sorts it out to some degree.
as for PN ive no dealings with them this week. which is allways good Smiley

Apart from the DNS failures it's been ok. Nearly a month of using the Unlimited package and I think overall it was a good move from Premier 1.

Re: Have you had a good experince with your PN Broadband contract this week ?

It's been ok for me too although the speed is marginally down and I notice that my BT profile has now gone back to 5Mb from 5.5Mb previously but no idea why that is. Huh In contrast, for a brief period after midnight a few nights ago I was getting an extremely fast download speed but only for around 15 minutes. I wonder if this was BT tinkering with the line?

PS: I stand corrected. I've just visited the BT Speedtester site again and now my IP profile is down to 4500 kbps. How's that then? It would appear that I am dropping 500kbps per week. Shocked (BT Exchange is Boston, Lincs).

This is my first week on Plusnet. So far my broadband connected 5 days earlyan I've had great support from both here and over the telephone.
A good week? You could put it that way!

I voted a bad week. I suppose this could be a bit unfair as speed problem improved on after a chat with support. And usually no problems at all, just a few days where service slipped a bit.
I have come to this thread at a bad time as, as I say there are usually no problems.  Cool

Have completed a week since moving from Zen to Plusnet, and have had no issues. A happy new customer.
